The good things that stuck out to me with this movie were the animation; the style and look of the movie was gorgeous. The voice talent; Danny DeVito as the Lorax and Ed Helms as the Once-ler were great. The humor; genuine laughs and giggles throughout. The bad things that stuck out to me with this movie were the horrible music; for such stunning visual musical numbers the songs were kind of terrible. The message; it's not a problem with the message, I'm certainly not one who has no interest or care for the environment, but more with the intensity of it. When you pound it down my throat* harder than "Jurassic Park: The Lost World" we have a problem, especially when I'm not even sure that was the real message of the movie. The humor; for the genuine laughs and giggles throughout, they could have come more often. I realize the challenge with animated movies is that you have to appeal to the child audience who wants to see it and the adult audience who must take them to see it, and this move did just fine. In fact, I left the movie having thoroughly enjoyed it, but I'm not sure I'd take the time to sit down and watch it again.
*That's what she said.

Enjoyable? I guess that's what I'd expect.
